What we'd recommend.
Specify for the stubble season, not the annual average. That means going a grade coarser and a section thicker than the rest of the year would justify, so elements survive six to eight weeks of very high particulate without starving the equipment behind them. Ludhiana's hosiery mills should be at 20 PPI regardless.

Both start from the same information — grade, thickness, and either a drawing, a DXF or the old part. Repeat orders then run against the same tooling.

20 PPI, in the thickest section the housing takes. Textile lint is bulky rather than fine, so it loads by volume — a coarse deep element holds an enormous amount before restricting airflow, and rinses clean. Anything finer than 30 PPI in a knitwear mill will blind over within days.
