§ Supply · Mizoram · North-East India

    Foam filters for Mizoram.

Die-cut reticulated foam, sheet stock and gaskets supplied to industry across Mizoram — specified for what Mizoram's plants are actually breathing, not from a catalogue.

    § 01 · Mizoram

    What this state breathes.

Mizoram's demand centres on bamboo and agro-processing around Aizawl, which is fibrous, high-volume dust — the load type reticulated foam is best at. Humidity rather than particulate is the governing constraint, so the chemistry decision matters more here than the pore grade does.

Climate. A humid subtropical hill climate with heavy monsoon rainfall and mild temperatures — moisture rather than dust is the constraint.

    § 02 · Local industry

    Who buys foam here.

    • Bamboo processingFibrous dust in high volume — the dominant industrial duty in the state.
    • Food and agro-processingSmall-scale plant with washdown areas.
    • Building services and institutional HVACAir handling in a humid hill climate.
    • Workshops and light engineeringCompressor intakes.

Industrial centres served: Aizawl · Lengpui · Kolasib.

    § 03 · Specification

    What we'd recommend.

Polyether for the sustained humidity, and 20-30 PPI for bamboo and agro fibre. With seven-day freight, thickness and a spare set are worth more here than precision on grade — a slightly over-specified element that never runs out beats an optimal one you are waiting for.

That is where we would start for bamboo processing, not a quote. Tell us the equipment, what it draws in and how often it will realistically be serviced, and the grade narrows quickly. Background: choosing a PPI and polyester against polyether.

    § 04 · How it is supplied

    Getting it to Aizawl.

Most Mizoram enquiries arrive as one of two things: a die-cut element matched to a filter that already exists, or sheet stock for a converter cutting in-house. Both start from the same information — grade, thickness, and either a drawing, a DXF or the old part. Repeat orders then run against the same tooling.

We cut the foam ourselves at our own facility in Ghaziabad, which is why the recommendation above is a technical opinion rather than whatever happens to be in stock. Pricing is volume-based — see how foam is quoted.

    § 05 · Mizoram questions

    Common questions.

Do you supply reticulated foam filters in Mizoram?

Yes — die-cut filter elements, gaskets and sheet stock, supplied to industry across Mizoram including Aizawl, Lengpui and Kolasib. Manufacturing is at our own facility in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, and orders ship to you directly. Grades run from 20 to 80 PPI and thickness from 5 mm upwards, cut to your drawing, DXF or a sample of the element you want matched.

Which foam grade suits conditions in Mizoram?

A humid subtropical hill climate with heavy monsoon rainfall and mild temperatures — moisture rather than dust is the constraint. Polyether for the sustained humidity, and 20-30 PPI for bamboo and agro fibre. With seven-day freight, thickness and a spare set are worth more here than precision on grade — a slightly over-specified element that never runs out beats an optimal one you are waiting for.

    Which grade suits bamboo processing?

20-30 PPI polyether, in a thick section. Bamboo dust is fibrous and bulky, so it loads by volume rather than blinding a surface, and a deep coarse element holds a lot of it before airflow drops. Because the ambient humidity is high year round, polyether chemistry is essential and elements need drying fully before they go back in.
