Foam filters for Bihar.
Die-cut reticulated foam, sheet stock and gaskets supplied to industry across Bihar — specified for what Bihar's plants are actually breathing, not from a catalogue.
What this state breathes.
Bihar's filtration demand is strongly seasonal, driven by agro-processing cycles rather than continuous heavy industry. A sugar mill in crushing season and the same mill three months later are entirely different filtration problems, and the element has to be specified for the worse of the two.
Climate. Hot summers, a strong monsoon, and Gangetic-plain dust. Winter air quality across the Patna belt is among the poorest in the country.
Who buys foam here.
- Sugar and food processing — Bagasse and cane fibre is bulky and abundant — a textbook depth-loading duty.
- Fertiliser and refining, Barauni and Begusarai — Plant intakes and compressor guards, with compatibility checks where process chemistry is present.
- Light engineering, Hajipur and Patna — General plant filtration and panel filters.
- Agro-processing and rice milling — Husk dust — light, fibrous and very high volume seasonally.

What we'd recommend.
Seasonal peaks dominate here — crushing season in the sugar mills and the winter particulate season — so specify for the peak rather than the average. 20 PPI in thick sections for mill and agro-processing duties, washed frequently through the season. Polyether for the monsoon humidity.
That is where we would start for sugar and food processing, not a quote. Tell us the equipment, what it draws in and how often it will realistically be serviced, and the grade narrows quickly. Background: choosing a PPI and polyester against polyether.
Getting it to Patna.
Most Bihar enquiries arrive as one of two things: a die-cut element matched to a filter that already exists, or sheet stock for a converter cutting in-house. Both start from the same information — grade, thickness, and either a drawing, a DXF or the old part. Repeat orders then run against the same tooling.
We cut the foam ourselves at our own facility in Ghaziabad, which is why the recommendation above is a technical opinion rather than whatever happens to be in stock. Pricing is volume-based — see how foam is quoted.
Common questions.
Do you supply reticulated foam filters in Bihar?
Yes — die-cut filter elements, gaskets and sheet stock, supplied to industry across Bihar including Patna, Hajipur, Begusarai, Muzaffarpur, Barauni and Bhagalpur. Manufacturing is at our own facility in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, and orders ship to you directly. Grades run from 20 to 80 PPI and thickness from 5 mm upwards, cut to your drawing, DXF or a sample of the element you want matched.
Which foam grade suits conditions in Bihar?
Hot summers, a strong monsoon, and Gangetic-plain dust. Winter air quality across the Patna belt is among the poorest in the country. Seasonal peaks dominate here — crushing season in the sugar mills and the winter particulate season — so specify for the peak rather than the average. 20 PPI in thick sections for mill and agro-processing duties, washed frequently through the season. How should I specify for a sugar mill's crushing season?
For the peak, not the average. Bagasse and cane fibre are bulky, so a 20 PPI element in the thickest section the housing takes will hold a very large volume before airflow drops — and it rinses clean, which matters when you are washing weekly through the season. Running a finer grade to be safe is counterproductive here: it will blind within days of crushing starting.
